Small Business Loans for Hurricane Irene Expenses

Small business loans have been made available to meet hurricane Irene expense by the Union County Board of Chosen Freeholders.
The county has stated that the small business loans will be available; but the businesses that need them will have to contact the Union County Economic Development Corporation (UCEDC). The UCEDC is a non-profit corporation or organization which helps provide small business loans to businesses when conventional lending sources are out of reach. They may contact the UCEDC for the small business loans by phone on 908-527-1166; they can also visit their website and follow the link to "loans".
Union County business owners may contact the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for more information on small business loans. It was announced that the Union County residents and small businesses can now apply for various types of help such as temporary housing, repair, replacement, Disaster Unemployment Assistance, and other small business loans.
